Serendipity is defined as "It was meant to be". The perfect name for my little store. It was purely by chance that it happened at all. I had not planned to open an antique store. I just loved being around antique stores and resale shops. I loved the hunt for really neat things. It seems that it came and got me. I did not look for it. It was a casual conversation in March of 2008 that started this journey. A friend of my grandfathers wanted to sell a building in the antique district of Denham Springs. He made me a wonderful offer that I could not get out of my mind. I told my idea to my husband and he said lets go for it. After 3 months of figuring out how we could make it happen, we closed on the building. After 3 months of working on the building every day and night, we opened the doors of Serendipity. We have over 15 different dealers that all have there unique items. We sell everything from Jewelry to furniture. I pride myself with having a very open and friendly store.
